Paul Taylor

Paul is Archives and Heritage Service Manager for West Northamptonshire Council, although the work of his team encompasses the archives, historic environment record and portable antiquities scheme across the whole historic county of Northamptonshire.

He is newly appointed into this role, having previously worked as Head of Museum and Curatorial Services managing the archive, library and museum collections of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon. This role also included managing the archives and library of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

In addition, Paul is a Trustee and chair of the HR subcommittee of Escape Arts in Stratford-upon-Avon and is looking forward to getting more involved with heritage across the county as he settles in to his new role in Northamptonshire.
