Welcome to Northamptonshire Heritage Forum

An essential body that celebrates the gratifying range of arts, culture and heritage in this beautiful and ancient county.

I have a humble aspiration: to make the past accessible to a broad audience, without “dumbing down” or condescension - and that is why I’m proud to be patron of this forum, that shares this simple aim.

Northamptonshire is, to many outsiders, a little known county. But, to those lucky enough to have more than a passing acquaintance with the place, this is a part of England studded with historic houses and churches, laced with fine museums, and blessed with a very special theatre.

It has heritage in abundance, and the Northamptonshire Heritage Forum appreciates and advertises that fact with thought and care.

I hope this website gives you a good inkling of all that Northamptonshire has within its county boundaries - places it has enjoyed through the generations, which it still celebrates today, through the Northamptonshire Heritage Forum.
