Lynne Dickens
Lynne is a qualified art historian and has some expertise in curating fine art exhibitions and even more in producing all of the catalogues, posters, websites and supporting material to create a successful event. As a website designer and creative projects manager, Lynne created and maintains the Forum’s website.
She completed her first degree (BA History and Philosophy of Art) between 2011 and 2014, at the University of Kent, as a mature student. During this time, she co-curated two professional art exhibitions within the University's purpose-built Studio 3 Gallery: Underexposed: Female Artists and the Medium of Print (16 May to 19 June 2014) and Two-Faced Fame: Celebrity in Print 1962-2013 (28 May to 14 June 2013).
In 2020, she also received her Postgraduate Certificate in History of Art from Birkbeck, University of London.
Since leaving her post as MBA and Alumni Officer at Kent Business School, University of Kent in 2025, she is now working as Conference and Events Officer for the MND Association (the largest motor neurone disease charity in the UK).
When not working, she can often be found in museums and galleries across the UK and overseas, as well as viewing forthcoming sales at Sotheby’s and Christie’s.
