Spratton Local History Society

An award-winning history society with an extensive archive containing photographs, documents and genealogical information. Their numerous publications cover village history, notable residents (including a Victoria Cross holder), the 200-year-old state primary school and farming, while their wide-ranging website gives further details of the activities of the society.

 
 

Meetings

Six speaker evenings per year and two summer outings. Talks start at 7.30pm and are held in the village hall in School Road.

Membership

£5 per annum. Talks £2.
