Friends of Kettering Art Gallery and Museum
Founded in 1956, the Friends support the Alfred East Art Gallery and Manor House Museum (awaiting redevelopment) by raising funds to help make their extraordinary collections available to visitors. They founded and manage the ARTworks Creative Space in Kettering’s Newlands Centre, collaborating with Kettering and District Art Society.
Meetings
Talks currently peripatetic and irregular (check social media), but they hope to return to monthly talks in the Alfred East Art Gallery. They hold regular art workshops for children and adults at ARTworks.
Membership
Adult £15, Joint Adult £25. Talks free for members, £4 for non-members.

Guided tours of the Victorian cemetery on London Road, Kettering - astonishing personal histories, monuments and trees
Guided walks of Kettering's buildings of architectural/historical importance, or associated with notable individuals
The Fall of the House of Sawyer - how ruin overtook one of Kettering's most notable families in the 18th century
