Abington Park Museum

A Grade I listed building set within Abington Park.

 

Telling the story of Abington and the people who have lived in the area throughout the years. It’s a 15th century manor house, once the home of Shakespeare’s granddaughter Elizabeth Bernard, who is buried in the nearby church. The museum is also home to the Northamptonshire Regiment and Yeomanry Gallery. There are art exhibitions, seasonal events, craft and food fairs and family activities over the year.


Talks/tours offered

  • Regular ticketed guided tours of the museum available once a month for the general public

  • Group guided tours available that discover the history of the building, the park and the people who lived and worked here

Opening times

Weekends, 12pm to 4pm.

Also open 12pm to 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday during Northamptonshire school holidays and most bank holidays.

Admission

Free. Bookable tickets required for some events and activities.
