We are delighted to share that one of our valued members, 78 Derngate in Northampton, has been awarded full museum accreditation by Arts Council England – a nationally recognised mark of excellence for museums across the UK.

This prestigious endorsement recognises that 78 Derngate is professionally managed, sustainable, and delivers high-quality experiences for visitors from around the world. The accreditation is part of a UK-wide scheme run in partnership with Museums Galleries Scotland, the NI Museums Council, and the Welsh Government.

Huge congratulations to the team at 78 Derngate, whose hard work and dedication – supported by Northampton Town Council, Museum Development Midlands (MDM), and their incredible volunteers – made this success possible.
