History Book Corner

Have you visited History Book Corner located in the Visitor Centre and Gift Shop at Chester House Estate? 

It’s Northamptonshire’s only dedicated local history, local author, general history and children’s history bookshop, stocking new and secondhand publications. Run by local historian, Jon-Paul Carr, the book shop provides rare and out-of-print books exploring the county’s rich history. Jon-Paul is a very familiar face in local history, and he is hoping to pass on his passion of history onto students from the Creating Tomorrow Trust who are helping him run the shop.
