Blisworth Heritage Society

The history of Blisworth has been shaped by the Grand Union Canal, the London to Birmingham Railway, and iron and limestone quarrying. The society’s archive, one of the most extensive for a village, is housed in the village hall and accessible by appointment or on archive days. The Blisworth Tapestry, a 5.5m wall hanging in Blisworth Baptist Church coffee house depicts the history of the village from Roman times to the present day.
