Northampton Transport Heritage

Northampton Transport Heritage works to preserve and promote the county’s transport history. Its vehicle collection includes former Northampton Corporation Transport and United Counties buses, regularly displayed at events and in partnership with local organisations. The group also maintains an extensive archive and offers illustrated talks to schools and community groups, with a heritage bus available as part of visits.

Members’ meetings are quarterly and guests are welcome, as well as public events and running days. They hold regular ‘maintenance’ days, where members are encouraged to get involved and help clean and maintain the vehicles. Four newsletters are produced each year and there are regular members’ outings and meetings with guest speakers and audio-visual presentations.

Membership

£20 adult, £30 family and £5 junior (under 16) per year.
