Northampton Transport Heritage

Northampton Transport Heritage actively works to preserve and promote transport heritage in the county. They have a collection of vehicles, that includes ex Northampton Corporation Transport and United Counties buses, which can be seen attending various events throughout the county and working with various organisations. They also have an extensive archive collection. Talks are available to schools, community groups, and other special interest groups - and a bus can be provided as part of the visit to the group.

Meetings

Members’ meetings are quarterly and guests are welcome, as well as public events and running days. They hold regular ‘maintenance’ days, where members are encouraged to get involved and help clean and maintain the vehicles. Four newsletters are produced each year and there are regular members’ outings and meetings with guest speakers and audio-visual presentations.
